Day 1: Rome

Arrive at Rome’s Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport and head to Hotel Palazzo Montemartini to meet your fellow travelers and travelling concierge.

Day 2: Rome and the Vatican

VIP entry into the Vatican Museums allows you to enjoy the timeless papal art collection. Head to Michelangelo’s Sistene Chapel for a private tour before it opens to the public. Continue to St. Peter’s Basilica before seeing the Roman Forum and the Grand Colosseum.

Day 3: Pompeii and the Isle of Capri

Today, explore the town of Pompeii, learn about the lifestyles of the people and explore the remnants of ancient shops, baths and patrician villas. Journey on to the Bay of Naples to board a hyrdofoil to the Isle of Capri.

Day 4: Explore the Isle of Dreams – Capri

Embark on a cruise to see the white grotto and cliffs of the island before arriving in Capri town. Walk to the gardens of Caesar Augustus to view the legendary Faraglioni Rocks followed by a lunch at the incredible Michelin-starred Mammà. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: Perugia

Return to the mainland and travel along the Highway of the Sun to Assisi for a visit of the Basilica of St. Francis. Continue on to the umbrian capital of Perugia. In the afternoon, enjoy a walk along the Corso Vannucci to the main square where you’ll see the Great Fountain, Collegio del Cambi and the Prior’s Palace.

Day 6: San Gimignano and Tuscany

Meet the director of Laboratorio Giuditta Borzetti to learn about the craft of textile loom-weaving. Then, head to the wine domain of Guardastelle to see spectacular views of the rolling vineyards and San Gimignano.

Day 7: Florence

Explore Florence with a choice to join an art historian for a guide to the city including  seeing Michelangelo’s statue of David in the Accademia Museum or choose to join a local foodie on a walking tour of the best gastronomic treats. In the evening, forage for truffles with an expert truggle dog followed by a dinner in an elegant villa.

Day 8: Florence

Your exploration of Florence continues with an authentic culinary masterclass set in a historic villa. Finish the class by with a lovely lunch before traveling to Pisa to view Duomo and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Day 9: Cinque Terre

Journey northwest to Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll explroe the fishing village of Manarola then cruise the ruggest coast to explore Monterosso’s medieval quarter, followed by a train ride to the resort town of Rapallo.

Day 10: Venice

Cross the fertile Po Valley to Venice and take a water taxi to your hotel. In the evening, you’ll have the chance to attend an after-hours private visit of Doge’s Palace.

Day 11: Venice

Spend the day exploring the culture of Venice. Join a craftsman’s workshop to learn about glass blowing, admire the famous St. Mark’s Basilica and the Bridge of Sighs. Later, enjoy a gondola ride through the canals. In the evening, you’ll learn how to make a Bellini during dinner at the Taverna La Fenice.

Day 12: Venice

After breakfast, bid farewell to your travel companions before heading to Venice Marco Polo Airport.
