Our AAA Vacations® Journey guests arrive in Buenos Aires today and will be met at the airport and chauffeured to the luxurious Alvear Palace Hotel to enjoy their complimentary pre-tour overnight in the heart of Argentina’s alluring capital.
DAY 2 – Enjoy Your Free Extra Day in Buenos Aires
After breakfast, our AAA Vacations® Journey guests have this day to relax and explore as they wish in this sophisticated and friendly city. This evening, enjoy dinner and the Tango show at La Ventana, famed for the passion of its dancers and musicians.
DAY 3 – Facets of Buenos Aires
Your city tour is offered with a twist, as our expert guide ties the landmarks you’ll see to the colorful life of Evita.
DAY 4 – Charming San Telmo
Discover colorful La Boca, where the Tango was born, and spend time in historic San Telmo, where a weekly antique fair draws more than 250 vendors. Then visit Zanjon de Granados; it offers a fascinating look into the earliest days of the city.
DAY 5 – Fly to Iguassu
Fly to Iguassu and transfer to the luxurious Belmond Das Cataratas, the only hotel inside Brazil’s Iguassu National Park. Explore along the Park’s well-maintained trails with our expert naturalist guide and delight in captivating views over the Falls.
DAY 6 – The Argentine Side of the Falls
To complement yesterday’s exploration of Iguassu’s Brazilian side, you’ll set out with a guide this morning for a full-day tour focusing on the best vantage points on the Argentine side of the Falls, including Devil’s Throat Cataract.
DAY 7 – Fly to Rio de Janeiro
Transfer to the airport for your nonstop flight to Rio de Janeiro. On arrival, you’ll escorted to the Belmond Copacabana Palace where our guests enjoy oceanview rooms.
DAY 8 – Out and about in Rio
Visit the Sambodromo and tour the Metropolitan Cathedral, with its soaring stained glass windows. A thrilling 2-stage cable car takes you up Sugarloaf Mountain for breathtaking views of the city. Then ascend Mt. Corcovado to see the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
DAY 9 – Depart Rio
