Day 1: Budapest, Hungary
Welcome to Budapest, capital of Hungary. Transfer to your ship from the airport*, explore a bit and then enjoy an evening dinner and cruise as you admire Budapest’s scenery.
Day 2: Budapest, Hungary
Journey along Andrássy Avenue and see the 19th- and 20th-century mansions, National Opera House, Parliament Building and Chain Bridge. Stop in Heroes’ Square, visit Matthias Church and enjoy views from Fishermen’s Bastion.
Day 3: Vienna, Austria
Tour the city of Vienna, ride along the Ringstrasse, see some of the city’s baroque architecture, including the world-famous Opera House, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and Hofburg Palace.
Day 4: Krems, Austria
Disembark in Krems and set off for Göttweig, visit the abbey church or choose to explore your environs by bicycle, along a riverside bike path.
Day 5: Passau, Germany
Enjoy a guided walk along Passau’s streets as you visit Old Town, the New Bishop’s Residence and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Enjoy lunch and return to the city for further exploration on your own take an optional excursion to a local farm.
Day 6: Regensburg, Germany
Take a walking tour through the town of Regensburg, considered one of Europe’s best preserved medieval cities. In the afternoon, cruise along the Danube or take an optional excursion to visit Weltenburg Abbey. You can also choose a full-day optional excursion to see the city of Munich.
Day 7: Nuremberg, Germany
Disembark in Roth to take a shuttle directly to Nuremberg or stay on board to cruise the Main-Danube Canal. After lunch, take a city tour that features Zeppelin Field, the Congress Hall and Nuremberg Castle. Alternately, you can join an optional World War II tour.
Day 8: Nuremberg, Germany
After breakfast, disembark and proceed to the airport for your return flight.* Or, extend your journey with 3 nights in Prague, Czech Republic, including a tour of Old Town and Prague Castle.
