Day 1: Athens
Explore the city of Athens before you join your Travel Director and travel companions for a Welcome Reception, including a light meal and welcome drink.
Day 2: Athens Sightseeing and Free Time
Take a step into history with tours of the Parthenon, the Royal Palace, the Temple of Zues, the Agora, and a visit to the Acropolis Museum.
Day 3: Athens > Corinth > Mycenae > Epidaurus > Nafplion
Explore the ancient city of Corinth before journeying to Mycenae to see the Beehive Tombs, Lion Gate and the reamins of Agamemnon’s Royal Palace. Then travel to Epidaurus to see visit the ancient theatre before ending the day in Nafplion.
Day 4: Nafplion > Olympia
From the Mountains of Arcadia to ancient Olympia, this evening, we ‘Connect With Locals’ joining the Karambellas family on their olive and wine farm for a Be My Guest dinner, some traditional dancing and characteristic Greek philoxenia.
Day 5: Olympia > Patras > Delphi
Visit the ancient Olympic site, the museum and the ruined remains of the Temples of Zeus and Hera. Leaving Olympia we’ll travel north to Patras, crossing the Gulf of Corinth to mainland Greece before continuing to Delphi.
Day 6 Delphi > Thermopylae > Kalambaka
Walk the Sacred Way to the 4th-century Temple of Apollo. Then, take a scenic afternoon drive to Thermopylae, the Thessaly and finally over the Pourmaraki Pass towards Kalambaka.
Day 7: Kalambaka > Meteora > Athens
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage monasteries of Meteora before we return to Athens, where we’ll enjoy a rousing Farewell Dinner.
Day 8: Athens
We say a fond farewell to our newfound friends and the treasures of Greece after an unforgettable journey. Airport transfers are available, conditions apply.
